Gundam Card Game

The Gundam Card Game (GCG) is an officially licensed trading card game by Bandai that spans the entire Mobile Suit Gundam franchise. It allows fans to build decks featuring classic mechas, modern units, and legendary pilots from across the series.

The Core Mechanics
  • How to Win: Instead of depleting a direct life pool, each player places six cards from their deck aside as Shields. The goal is to destroy all of your opponent's shields, eliminate their Base card, and land one final blow.
  • Card Types: You build a 50-card main deck using:
    • Units: The primary mecha cards you use to attack and block.
    • Pilots: Characters you attach to Units to boost their stats and give special abilities.
  • Commands: Action cards used for one-time effects like spells.
  • Bases: Defense structures with higher HP than standard shields.
Resource Deck: You also manage a separate 10-card Resource Deck to pay the costs of playing your main deck cards
