Elestrals
Elestrals is a popular, rapidly growing trading card game (TCG) and mythical monster franchise that blends the creature-collecting mechanics of Pokémon with the deep strategic combat and card battling of Yu-Gi-Oh!
It was created by popular TCG and Pokémon content creator aDrive and officially launched in 2024 after successful crowdfunding campaigns.
Key highlights of the franchise include:
- The Lore & Creatures: The game is set in the fantasy world of Alstria, where fragments of stars and elemental titans give power to mythical creatures, which are called "Elestrals". The creatures are based on real-world mythology, folklore, and animals, designed with striking artwork by a community of fan-favorite illustrators.
- Elements: Elestrals belong to eight different elemental types: Earth, Fire, Water, Thunder, Wind, Frost, Solar, and Lunar.
- Gameplay: Instead of traditional mana or energy cards, players use a "Spirit Deck" to manage their resources. The objective is to force your opponent to expend all their spirits.
- Video Game Expansion: The franchise expanded into the digital space with the launch of the cross-platform card game Elestrals Clash!, as well as a 2.5D, pixel-art monster-catching RPG called Elestrals Awakened
